In the morning I left home with a cognitive content that the 'Deal' would go down and all those bureaucrats and advisors are going to come back home having an all expenses paid holiday at Vienna... N people are going to forget the whole 'Big Story' in a few days constructing space for some other story probably not as important as this one was... or YES !! maybe a bigger one - like a 'Filmstar getting married' or like - 'Khali being kissed at WWE' as 'Breaking News' with 'Exclusive Footages'…
Spent the day doing lots of work , lots n lots of travel n some rhapsodic moments roaming around...Ate a lot 2day...N yeah shopped as well - Not much actually - Just a belt for me...
Returned back to see the news headline 'Deal Done' ... I'm sooo elated to realize that my belief the morning 2day has been wronged and India FINALLY clinches its waiver at the NSG... Had been rough in my thoughts about China (which actually abstained at final vote paving way for a consensus)... Whew!!!!! 3 days of grueling and toilsome talks, negotiations and uninterrupted swim upstream amongst barriers...
NSG - Nuclear Suppliers Group i.e. an International body which gives clearances for nuclear trade among countries with a few laws abiding them for nuclear co-operation and safety in order to have nuclear harmony in the world... Its two weapons for the same being:
> NPT: Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
> CTBT: Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty
India being the ONLY 1 among 45 of its members (46 now) to have a privilege of not signing the above two treaties and still being recognized as a Nuclear Power...Definitely suggests India at a pedestal above others...Reasons being put to this special India specific exemptions (from an Indian perspective) - India, the hugest democracy in the world having a strong track record of its Non-Proliferation Policy, Attainment of Moratorium over any further tests after Pokharan-II in 1998, No-First-Use Declaration and a Possible Threat to Indian National Security made its case strong enough to get a CLEAN WAIVER (as they say).... Plus having United States weight behind it... Plus when it was realized that there were a huge number of calls being made from Top-Most-White-House officials including The Prez n Ms. Rice for lobbying support, the deal was bound to get through...

N yes it did get through - marking an end of India's decades-long isolation from the nuclear mainstream and of the technology denial regime...
Hmmm ... Looks like I'm writing a report over it...Hmmm...Let’s get back to my blog thing...
I'm in no sort related directly to the deal being through...But still 2day I feel proud n joyous enough even to party over the issue...Every Indian would be...
Felt happy enuff to write a post over it...
Congratulations people on being citizens a Nuclear State (oopss !! an Internationally Recognised Nuclear State now)... :-)
